At Toner Logics our quality control starts right from the beginning: we selectively sort through returned empty toner cartridges and only remanufacture cartridges that are of high quality based on external appearance and condition of the internal parts. This is to ensure that the customer receives a high quality remanufactured product that has a near new appearance.
Our cartridge cleaning workstation(image 3) is driven by a high powered 10 BAR Pilot Air Compressor(image 2) to ensure all remaining toner is removed. Mixing old and new toner can result in printing defects such as blurring and smudging.
A typical toner cartridge comprises numerous essential working parts. These parts are removed from the cartridge and are process cleaned with specific solvents that do not damage the coatings and surfaces.
All remanufactured toner cartridges are fitted with new super drums, wiper blades, chips (where fitted), mag sleeves, felts, seals and bushes. Doctor blades are replaced in some cartridges depending on wear. Additionally, the new drum is coated with a long life padding powder that reduces friction and wear of the drum and wiper blade. The wiper blade is also treated with a special lubricant which further reduces friction and prevents "flipping" wiper blades.

All Toner Logics cartridges are resealed prior to being reloaded with premium Static Control Toner. In the re-assembly process, toping toner is applied to the mag sleeve so all cartridges can be print tested prior to bar coding and packaging.
Each cartridge is subjected to a proprietary TonerLogics print process. This involves a 6 page series of test patterns, run twice. Each of the 6 pages in the series is designed to test specific component functionality to guarantee 100% quality control of product.
Finally a bar code is applied to the cartridge for future quality tracking. The toner cartridge is now heat sealed in a plastic bag and placed in a specifically designed insert to protect the cartridge from damage in transit. The insert and cartridge are now placed into Qalitat or plain white boxes ready for sale.
